On Wednesday, December 16th, Lucas Domingos Rogerio Bonato, was officially registered at the American Embassy. It was one of the most simple and agreable experiences I've ever had with an agency of this sort. Everyone working in the Passport department was so kind and congratulated us for our little wonder. We even met a charming couple with their 3 month old, Zachar, who were also there to register their little guy. Wouldn't you know it, the father is a French-American internet entrepreneur and we found that we had plenty of contacts in common. We left that day with an official certificate and an American flag... it was a beautiful start to Lucas' American adventure. As it took a little while we made a stop at the Crillon ( a 4star hotel at the concord) for a breastfeeding break (only the best for my Lucas). Then off to Montmatre to lunch with Marie at the Cave Cafe.
We'll head to the Mairie and the Brazilian consulat to register Lucas for is other 2 passports...Oh what luck he has.... now we're just working on teaching him all three languages.
